Kaufland’s 9,000 m² facility in Jastrebarsko is a highly utilized logistics center handling the daily receiving, warehousing, and dispatching of goods. The immense volume of internal traffic—dominated by heavy forklifts and electric pallet jacks—demands exceptionally reliable protection for both structural elements and pedestrian communication routes.
The greatest challenge lay in securing the facility’s most critical impact zones: highly exposed walls, sharp corners, transport aisles, industrial doors, and active loading docks. Utilizing traditional steel barriers was not a viable option, as rigid steel is prone to permanent deformation, rust, and—most critically—transferring destructive impact forces directly into the concrete sub-floor and facility structure.
