ALCA TRGOVINA operates a major warehouse and distribution facility managing the intake, storage, and dispatch of a vast array of goods. The high-intensity material handling inherently increases the risk of accidental forklift and pallet jack collisions against walls, traffic aisles, industrial doors, and other structural elements.
The primary project objective was to effectively shield these highly vulnerable zones with robust protection, but with a strict requirement: the installation could not encroach on or reduce the usable width of vital transport routes.
We implemented a tailored setup of compact, highly flexible polymer protection systems, including D120/430 protective bollards, PCK300 guardrails, and PCK D100 single and double bumpers. The barriers were precisely mapped and adapted to the specific aisle dimensions and the types of handling equipment operating within the facility, ensuring zero interference with daily logistics activities.
The Result: Long-term structural integrity has been secured for the facility's most critical impact zones. The installation drastically minimized the need for costly wall and infrastructure repairs while fully preserving the operational flow and spatial functionality of the distribution center.
